Divers Institute of Technology (DIT) was the first dive school in the country to offer international certification. They’ve trained commercial divers with companies globally since 1968. Their facility was named “World Class” by Underwater Magazine in 2015. They have an 88% Job Placement Rate (verified by third-party with total employed out of total graduates available for employment each year). They’re accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.
Veterans are also a key component to Divers Institute of Technology (DIT); in fact, over half of the instructors are former military personnel, and veterans both own and operate DIT. As practical experience, students weld, burn and rig in open water, diving to depths of 165 feet.

DIT Class 102-01
I don’t have the words to adequately describe how my experience at Divers Institute of Technology prepared me for the challenges of a career in commercial diving. I can only say that many years since my graduation, I still draw upon my experiences at DIT, when handling the duties of my position as Executive Director of the Association of Diving Contractors International."
