Canadian Working Divers Institute

About

With a facility on Ontario's Lake Borden, the Canadian Working Divers Institute (CWDI) offers practical, hands-on training for entry-level commercial divers. The instructors and staff here apply multiple decades of combined experience in their diving careers. Their courses focus on diver safety and responsibility, exceeding all US federal and state standards.

All totaled, CWDI owns 10 acres of property for rigging, lodging, welding, docking and dining. Their diving barges are moored 20 meters from the classroom and offices. Better still, Lake Borden has 50+ meter depths and silt over 3 meters in some places, providing the perfect underwater training environment.
